EDA THESS, continuing its steady growth, has shown impressive results in the first four months of 2019 consolidating its success and leading position in the energy sector.
More specifically, new connections reached 6.320, an increase of 27.6% compared to the respective period of the previous year. Additionally, the natural gas distributed volumes reached 240,4 m. cubic meters, surpassing by 27.6% the volumes of the first four months of 2018, while the constructed network reached 2.353km.
EDA THESS’ priority is the strict compliance with the Development Program, that it has conducted. At the same time, it sets high operational objectives focusing on network safety in accordance with the highest standards, achievement of strong financial results, introduction and use of advanced technologies to optimize the provided services and the rational management of the available resources.
According to the Company’s planning, the areas entering the natural gas distribution network within 2019 are: in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, Agia Triada by the end of June, Tagarades, Agia Paraskevi, Vasilika and Souroti by October and in the Regional Unit of Thessaly, Nea Anchialos of Magnesia Prefecture, Agia of Larissa Prefecture and Palamas of Karditsa Prefecture by the end of July and finally, Sofades of Karditsa Prefecture by the end of September.
