During his stay in Larissa, the Minister of Development and Investments visited          EDA THESS’ headquarters in Thessaly, where he was greeted by the General Manager, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras and the personnel of the Company. Welcoming Mr. Adonis Georgiades, Mr. L. Bakouras made a brief reference to EDA THESS’ activity in the areas of the License, presenting the approved 5-year investment plan, which touches  €100 million, and its innovative actions.

In addition, Mr. Bakouras referred to the high rate of gas penetration in the areas where EDA THESS operates, and its large contribution to the family budget by reducing heating costs. Mr. Adonis Georgiades stressed that “despite my burdened schedule, I decided to visit EDA Thessaloniki - Thessaly because I consider it a model of success in the energy sector. The high rates of natural gas penetration achieved by EDA THESS, its ability to implement projects and to distribute the gas continuously to the consumer, make it an operational model for the whole country. And I can say this and congratulate her."

Mr. L. Bakouras thanked the Minister for the excellent words and offered him as a sign of hospitality, the symbol of the city of Larissa, which is the horse. Mr. Adonis Georgiades, accepting the gift, wished "Gas to gallop all over the country".
