In this context, the Company obtained certification from an independent body, in accordance with the ISO 37001: 2016 standard, for the Anti-Bribery Management System. The inspections proved the maturity of EDA THESS regarding the Management System’s best practices. The conduction of the relevant procedures assured the Company's compliance with the principles of transparency and impartiality and full alignment with International Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Law. For the effective awareness about issues related to the Anti-Corruption framework, the Company focuses primarily on the adoption of precautionary measures and mechanisms to strengthen its independence in all its activities, while at the same time intensifies the supervision mechanisms. In this way EDA THESS protects its reputation, increases the partners’ and consumers’ trust, and prevents the loss of the shares’ value. Company's zero tolerance for any relevant incident has been established and explicitly described in the Anti-Corruption Policy, which defines the operating framework and acceptable behaviors in accordance with the Company’s Code of Ethics. This system has been certified according to the ISO 27001: 2013 standard and establishes the framework for the timely and effective identification, assessment and resolution of Security Incidents. Concluding, the processes for obtaining certifications according to the ISO 50001: 2018 standards about the Energy Management System and ISO 39001: 2012 standards about the Road Traffic Safety Management System were successfully completed.
