The connection contracts for the supply of all HTAF’s premises with natural gas were signed, during the meeting that was held between the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Lieutenant Colonel, Mr. Georgios Tzikas and the 1st Lieutenant, Mr. Evangelos Geladaris with the General Manager of EDA THESS, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras and the Manager of the Natural Gas Market Development in Thessaly, Mrs. Efthymia Kalogirou.
The General Manager praised the significant benefits of the transition to natural gas, an environmentally friendly energy fuel that reduces the environmental footprint and emissions of pollutants. At the same time, Mr. Bakouras pointed out that the use of natural gas enables better economic management, cost control, energy and resources saving.
Acknowledging the excellent cooperation with EDA THESS, the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Mr. Tzikas, congratulated the Company’s staff for the provided services up to date and stated that he was pleased with the inclusion of the HTAF’s premises in the distribution network. He added that planning has already commenced for the construction of the internal installation of the first four buildings and they will be activated before the start of the next winter season.
