A meeting was held by the General Manager of EDA THESS, Mr. Leonidas Bakouras with the Regional Commander of Thessaly Fire Service, Mr. Christos Spathoulas.
The cooperation between the Gas Distribution Company and Thessaly’s Fire Brigade was agreed for the continuous and long-term training of the service on issues related to gas network infrastructures, 19 & 4 bar networks, pressure reduction stations, indoor gas installations, but also on new technologies, such as CNG and the remote areas decompressors. The training program will begin in November in every city of Thessaly, even in the remote departments of the fire service.
The General Manager stated that “by this way we extend our collaboration with the fire service, enhancing education and know – how, with aim always the safe operation of distribution networks. It’s our honor to have the opportunity to share information and experiences with the people of the fire department...”
